What's the Impact of Your Giving?
On this Giving Tuesday would you consider making a tax-deductible contribution to His Whole House?
Throughout the year various organizations, causes and those with good intent ask all of us to make a donation. They typically ask for money. Sometimes the request is for specific items, time, labor etc. It seems easy to contribute to something that you can see with your own two eyes! To see the meals being served, the children wearing new coats and shoes, the roof replaced on the shelter...the list goes on. Knowing that I personally contributed to help those endeavors succeed makes me feel good and thankful that I was able to help others.
Contributing to something that has less visible results can be more difficult to do. His Whole House is a non-profit ministry that leads people to inner-healing. They do this through three primary methods: 1) prayer counseling 2) training people to apply some of God's principles to their own lives and the lives of those they love and 3) providing mentoring and internship opportunities for those who feel called to work in the field of prayer counseling. Each of these produces amazing results in the lives of those who participate. People get freedom from things that have been holding them back from reaching the full potential God has for them. Not only are individuals healed, but those things that have negatively impacted entire family lines are broken and all are freed! Admittedly, unless you are a family member or close friend of someone who goes through an inner-healing process you most likely will not see the "results" of their work. Nevertheless, the healing does manifest within the lives of our clients, students and interns!
2 Corinthians 5:7 says "For we live by faith, not by sight...". Take a leap of faith today! Make a difference in someone's life by donating to His Whole House and enable others to achieve healing and further their journey toward reaching their potential! Sow into scholarships to allow people to receive prayer counseling, attend training courses, join the internship program and keep the office running!
